Guthrie County Deputy Sheriff Kent Gries reported a single-vehicle accident occurring on June 22 at 12:47 p.m. Johnny Edward Lawrence, 30, of Perry, was driving a 2024 Western Star Semi westbound between Sycamore and Rose Avenue before leaving the roadway for unknown reasons and entering the north ditch, overturning onto its passenger side. Lawrence was the sole passenger and was uninjured. He was issued a citation for failure to maintain control. Estimated damage to the semi is $10,000.
