Special to the Times Vedette
On Friday, Sept. 11 at 2:15 p.m., the Panorama schools held their annual homecoming parade and pep rally. The parade began on Market Street, then travelled to Panther Drive and ended at the Panorama Stadium where the pep rally was held. Participants in the parade were local businesses, Panorama sports teams and the Panorama Marching Band.
During the pep rally, coaches of the fall sports recognized their athletes and gave short speeches about how their seasons are going, and what they hope to achieve by the end of them. Fun activities also occurred, including the queen candidates putting makeup on the king candidates while blindfolded and a foot race including MS/HS Principal Thad Stanley.
The parade and pep rally were held in the afternoon before the Panorama vs. Earlham game that began at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
