The ACGC football team (4-0) won at home on Friday, Sept. 18 against Mount Ayr (1-4).
Three rushing TDs propelled the Chargers to victory. Andrew Baumert had 10 carries for 42 yards and two TDs. Ryder Cline had the other score on four carries for 60 yards. Lane Stringer helped contribute on the ground with 14 carries for 65 yards. Stringer was also all over the place on defense with 13 total tackles. Creighton Suhr forced and recovered a fumble. Kinnick Froehlich had an interception.
The Chargers face arguably their toughest opponent of the season at home this Friday, Sept. 18 when they play against Madrid (4-0). Madrid has won every game by double digits so far this season. Last season, ACGC defeated them 33-15.
