On Thursday, Oct. 15, LifeServe Blood Center held a mobile blood drive in Guthrie Center. The mobile blood drives are scheduled approximately every eight weeks so local donors can give as frequently as allowed without having to leave the local area.
Following a donation, donors are encouraged to have a snack and beverage at the complimentary snack table. Donors also accrue points for each donation, which can be redeemed toward merchandise, such as apparel and other LifeServe promotional items.
The next LifeServe mobile blood drive in Guthrie Center is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 17 from 2:30-6 p.m. at First Christian Church, 105 North Fourth St. Anyone interested in booking a timeslot to donate blood can visit the website www.lifeservebloodcenter.org.
