The ACGC volleyball team (30-10) hosts Ogden (23-11) for the Class 2A Region 7 quarterfinal on Wednesday, Oct. 21. ACGC and Ogden have played once this season, a 3-1 win for the Chargers. Ogden’s assists tend to come from No. 7 Ella Anderson, who has 477 this year. Kills most often are by No. 12 Olivia Coleman (200) and No. 11 Sidney Crane (127).
ACGC’s Stella Largent’s senior season has been one to remember. Not only have the Chargers reached their highest win total of all time at 30, but Largent now holds both records for career kills and career aces. She has also broken the record for most kills in a season, currently at 665. That number also currently leads the entire state. The previous record was held by her older sister, Chloe Largent.
Also of note, ACGC assistant coach Tara Largent reached her 200th win with the program. Largent has been with the coaching staff since the 2018-2019 season.
