The ACGC volleyball team (17-4) travels to Boyer Valley for the BV Classic on Saturday, Sept. 26. Joining the Chargers at the tournament are Audubon, Boyer Valley, Denison-Schleswig, Missouri Valley and West Monona.

The ACGC football team (4-0) won at home on Friday, Sept. 18 against Mount Ayr (1-4).
Three rushing TDs propelled the Chargers to victory. Andrew Baumert had 10 carries for 42 yards and two TDs. Ryder Cline had the other score on four carries for 60 yards. Lane Stringer helped contribute on the ground with 14 carries for 65 yards. Stringer was also all over the place on defense with 13 total tackles. Creighton Suhr forced and recovered a fumble. Kinnick Froehlich had an interception.
The Chargers face arguably their toughest opponent of the season at home this Friday, Sept. 18 when they play against Madrid (4-0). Madrid has won every game by double digits so far this season. Last season, ACGC defeated them 33-15.

The Panorama cross country team was set to host the Panorama Cross Country Meet on Thursday, Sept 17, but had to cancel the event due to the weather. The next meet for Panorama will be at the PCM Invite on Monday, Sept. 21. Panorama will compete against 10 other teams.

The Panorama football team (0-4) will play at West Central Valley (2-2) on Friday, Sept. 18. It will be West Central Valley’s homecoming game. Panorama lost to WCV in a close contest last season, 22-14.

The Panorama volleyball team (3-4) lost at home against Ogden (13-6) on Tuesday, Sept. 15. Panorama won the first set convincingly, 25-15, but dropped the next three sets.

Nerea Gimeno-Perez led the way for the Panthers with 13 assists. Hailey Hellman had the next most with four. Ashley Crees led in kills with 11. Gracie Recker was next closest with five. Lexi Galvan covered plenty of ground leading the team with 20 digs. Andrea Knode had the next most with 13. Crees played well on defense with a team-high six blocks. Fett was next closest with four blocks. Crees also led in aces with eight. Hellman and Gimeno-Perez were next closest with three each.
The next game for the Panthers is on Tuesday, Sept. 22 against Grand View Christian (4-8). GVC defeated Panorama last season, 2-0, and Panorama won the game before that in 2024, 2-1.

The ACGC boys and girls cross country teams were set to compete at the Panorama Cross Country Meet on tonight, Thursday, Sept. 17, but the event was cancelled due to incoming weather. The next meet for both teams is the ACGC Cross Country Meet on Thursday, Sept. 24. The boys and girls welcome 10 other teams to the meet.
