On Friday, Oct. 30, students at Panorama Elementary School enjoyed the opportunity to see some of their teachers get a pie in the face during an assembly. The event was the culmination of a two-week catalog sales PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) fundraiser event that raised $20,145.71. Proceeds will be used for enhancements at the elementary school playground and other needs to be determined.
Kids that were top sellers were recognized with awards, and top sellers from each grade had the opportunity to pie a teacher in the face. According to PTO president and Panorama teacher Kelly Nunn, the event was fun for all.
