On July 25, a total of 14 players participated. Rhonda Titus got a 16, 16 and 20; Bill Sheeder got a 20; Roy Carl got a 16, 18 and 16; Deb Kiefer got a 20; Jim Carico, Allen Pierce, Casey Crees, and Robert Klever each got a 16; and Dave Richter got two 16s.
On July 28, a total of 13 players participated. Wayne Nickel got an 18; Rhonda Titus had a 17 and a 20; Roy Carl and Rex Schoonover got a 16; Dennis Betts got a 16 and a 17; and Robert Klever brought in a 21.
The Guthrie Center cribbage players generally meet at Guthrie Center Library, 400 Grand St., on Mondays at 8 a.m. and at the New Homestead independent living dining hall, 2306 State St., at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays and at 1 p.m. on Fridays. Organizers say there is always room for more, and they will be glad to teach you how to play. They play for quarters on Wednesday and Friday.
In other cribbage news, a cribbage tournament will be held Friday, Aug. 1 during Panorama Days at the community center. Registration starts at 1:30 p.m.
