Thanks to the generosity of two local livestock producers, everyone has the opportunity to fill a freezer while supporting the families of Alli Wiers and Gavin Pederson, the local teens involved in the tragic Oct. 17 car accident near Bayard.
An auction of four quarters of donated beef and two halves of donated pork will run from 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2 until noon on Saturday, Nov. 14. All proceeds will go to help both families.
Guthrie County Quality Meats will donate processing costs and shipping costs, allowing anyone throughout the United States to participate.
