Special to the Times Vedette
The Guthrie County Community Foundation (GCCF) will host its annual fall reception on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the Guthrie Center Activity Center in Guthrie Center. This year, GCCF awarded grants to 27 local organizations, including programs for children, and emergency and medical services. The awards totaled more than $210,000.
During the reception, representatives from grant recipient organizations will share their projects and explain how the funding is making a difference for people in Guthrie County.
Community members are invited to attend, meet the organizations doing this work and learn more about how the Guthrie County Community Foundation supports local projects and invests in the future of the county.
The application process for 2027 begins Nov. 11. For more information, contact the Guthrie County Community Foundation at gccfoundation@gmail.com or visit desmoinesfoundation.org/affiliates/guthrie-county.
