On the afternoon of May 30, a retirement reception was held at the Activity Center in Guthrie Center for Bob Kempf, who recently retired after 19 years as the Emergency Management Coordinator for Adair and Guthrie Counties. His final day in that role was May 14. Many city and county officials and others were on hand at the reception to wish Kempf well in retirement and to thank him for all he’s done for the two counties.
