This past weekend, Main Street Dance Studios, owned by Kristi Vance, held its 33rd annual recital for students who attend their Panora and Stuart locations. The dancers come from Adair, Casey, Guthrie Center, Panora, Stuart, Yale and other nearby communities, along with a few from the Nevada studio that study at multiple locations each week.
The recital was held at Panorama High School, and the theme this year was “Once Upon a Dream.” There were many dance routines of that theme, along with a few mini-productions (“Tangled” and “Sleeping Beauty”) and competition dance routines. Three-and-a-half-hour-long recital shows were held on Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon, along with a two-hour Competition Revue show on Saturday afternoon.
Graduating seniors included Emily Partlow, Elizabeth Snyder, Madelyn Carstens, Madison Edgington, and Emmarae Ellis.
