Guthrie County Hospital announced a $50,000 donation from Rose Acre Farms to support the upgrade of its existing helipad, an asset in providing timely emergency medical care to the region.

“We are deeply grateful to Rose Acre Farms for this substantial contribution,” Guthrie County Hospital CEO Chris Stipe said. “This donation will go a long way in ensuring our hospital is equipped for the most efficient and effective emergency response possible.”

The new helipad project is part of Guthrie County Hospital’s ongoing efforts to improve access to life-saving care. The upgrade will include updated lighting, enhanced structural components and improved access pathways for emergency personnel and equipment.

The hospital hopes to break ground on the new helipad before winter of this year.
