Guthrie County Deputy Sheriff Kent Gries reported a single-vehicle accident occurring on Aug. 27 at 3:50 p.m. on 110thStreet. Summer Joy Archer, 20, of Auburn, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet K1500 Suburban eastbound on 110th Street and was cresting a hill immediately west of Chestnut Road. Archer attempted to stop, lost control and spun around facing westbound. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top in the south ditch, knocking over the posted stop sign. The vehicle sustained estimated damage of $5,000 and was uninsured. Archer received a citation for failure to provide proof of financial liability.
