Special to the Times Vedette

On Wednesday, April 9, Sunshine Club members met with 10 members and two guests attending at the Panora Public Library for a 1 p.m. meeting.

Vice President Charlotte Jackson opened the meeting with roll call being a favorite spring or Easter memory. Many nice answers were given. The minutes were read, and the treasurer’s report was given. Discussion was about the April 14 bingo at the Stuart Care Center that the club volunteered for. Several are unable to help, so if not enough is available, they will give the money for prizes to be used for this purpose. The money was given to Pat Trent to give to the Care Center if members are unable to help. Linda Thompson will send out a message to members about the need for help.

The next meeting will be on May 14 at the home of Linda Thompson with an 11 a.m. luncheon and meeting. All members are encouraged to bring a salad to share that day. Sandy served delicious refreshments, and cards were played the remainder of the afternoon.
