Special to the Times Vedette
On Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, seven Sunshine Club members met at the home of Trudy Woolman for a 1 p.m. meeting. Sandy called the meeting to order with roll call being your favorite singer or group of all time. Many good answers and some with several answers.
Minutes of the August and September meetings were read, and the treasurer’s reports given.
No club trip was taken this year. Linda Thompson had several flyers for events in Greenfield for the next couple of months. The Linden Fall Steak Dinner will be held on Oct. 23 from 5-7 p.m. As a reminder, the club’s annual Christmas party will be held at Patrick’s in Adel on Dec. 9, and everyone is encouraged to bring a grab bag for a gift exchange. Also, don’t forget to bring gently used items for the Linden Library kids shopping day to be held at the Linden Methodist Church to the club’s next meeting.
The meeting was adjourned with delicious snacks being served by the hostess. Cards completed the afternoon for those who could stay.
