Special to the Times Vedette
On Wednesday, July 16, five Sunshine Club members and two guests made their annual club trip to Omaha’s Old Market district for a delicious lunch at the Upstream Brewing Company. Their next stop was at the Joslyn Castle and Gardens for a tour that consisted of beautiful woodwork using many different woods from other countries, striking chandeliers and other lights, and gorgeous hand-painted murals. The Joslyn Family originally lived and worked in Des Moines.
After the tour, they ventured off to Darrell’s in Hamlin for some delicious pie. Some even brought pie home with them. Everyone agreed it was a great trip arranged by Gina, and she drove them all in her car as well.
