Guthrie County Deputy Sheriff Shane Martinson reported a single-vehicle accident occurring on June 12 at 9:11 p.m. Jesse Lee Alexander, 31, of Audubon, was driving a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LL northbound on Fir Avenue in Coon Rapids when he failed to navigate the left-hand curve. Alexander lost traction and over-corrected, causing the vehicle spin around 180 degrees before entering the east ditch, where the vehicle rolled one time and came to rest on its wheels. Estimated damage to the Tahoe is $5,000. Alexander was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
