Cory Robert Beer passed away in a car accident on June 4, 2024, at 35 years old. Visitation was on Monday, June 10 at 9 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. located at Twigg Funeral Home in Panora. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Guthrie Center. Following the graveside service, there will be a luncheon at the activity center in Guthrie Center (209 State St., Guthrie Center, IA 50115)
Cory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Helen Beer, Yolanda Howell and Eddie Tallman; his sister, Emily Beer; his uncle, Kevin Tallman; and his cousin, Clint Kirkpatrick.
Cory is survived by his parents, John and Tracy Beer; and sons, Bryan and Koltyn Beer. Others surviving him are Gabe and Brogan Littlejohn; sister, Whitney (Cody) Zickefoose; nephews, Tucker Beer, Micheal and Owen Zickefoose; nieces, Heather and Liberty Zickefoose; grandparents, Tolly (Pam) Howell; aunts, Connie (Todd) Kirkpatrick, Stephanie Tallman and Angela (Terry) Schnoor; uncles, Larry (Nancy) Tallman and Chad (Meghan) Howell; cousins, Matt (Amanda) Kirkpatrick, Sarah (Clay) Ivonavitch, Matt Tallman, Tyler (Allison) Howell, Alex Howell, Kylee Howell, Maci Schnoor and Dylan Bowling.
Cory was a free spirit in life. He was always there to give a helping hand. Cory held no judgment or prejudice for anyone. No matter who you were or where you were, Cory was there to help in any way he could. Cory’s passion was working on vehicles, any shape and size. Cory also loved the small things in life like fishing, hanging out with his friends, and, most especially, spending time with his boys. Cory loved to cheer for his favorite teams such as the Miami Dolphins and the Carolina TarHeels.
Cory’s death has left a deep hole in the hearts of the ones who loved him. Cory will be forever loved and missed, and his memories will be cherished.
