The ACGC boys track and field team finished second as a team at the IHSAA 1A track and field state championships May 22-24. ACGC scored 44 points to capture second place. Lisbon was named champion with 54. The Chargers performed incredibly well in the relays, as they have done all season. Morgun Nolte, Tate Fever, Thomas Skram and Brexton Schneider won the championship in the 4×110-meter shuttle hurdle, breaking a school record. The 4×400-meter relay team of Luke Brincks, Dean Vela, Tate Fever and Eli Madsen won bronze. This group broke the school record in the qualifying round and then broke it again in the finals. The 800-meter sprint medley team of Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Luke Brincks and Eli Madsen won bronze. The 4×100-meter relay team of Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Luke Brincks and Eli Madsen also earned bronze. Tate Fever was a state runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles, breaking his own school record.

  • 400-meter dash: Eli Madsen, sixth in 50.80
  • 400-meter hurdles, Tate Fever, second in 54.25
  • Discus, Mike Fuller, eighth throwing 152-04
  • Shot put, Mike Fuller, fifth throwing 50-09.50
  • 800-meter sprint medley, Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Luke Brincks and Eli Madsen, third in 1:34.50
  • 4×100-meter relay, Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Luke Brincks and Eli Madsen. Third in 43.46
  • 4×200-meter relay, Joe Crawford, Thomas Skram, Luke Brincks and Dean Vela, 10th in 1:31.70
  • 4×110-meter shuttle hurdle relay, Morgun Nolte, Tate Fever, Thomas Skram and Brexton Schneider, first in 59.94
  • 4×400-meter relay, Luke Brincks, Dean Vela, Tate Fever and Eli Madsen, third in 3:24.84
