The ACGC girls track and field team competed at the state-qualifying event at Audubon High School on May 14 and placed eighth. IKM-Manning topped the field with 118 points with CAM-Anita in a close second with 108 points.
The 4×200-meter relay team of Meranda Gruber, S. Akers, Cadence Petersen and N. Langaard placed first, 1:50.34. Other top-five finishers were: 800 sprint medley, fourth; 4×100-meter relay, fourth; 4×400-meter relay, fourth; and Cadence Petersen, 400-meter hurdles, fourth, and high jump, fifth.
