The ACGC baseball team (8-13) lost at Madrid (10-15) on Monday, June 29. Madrid scored all four of its runs by the third inning. ACGC scored two runs in the fifth to make it a close game but could not complete the comeback. All three RBIs came from William Skram, who went 3/3 with a single, double and triple. Blaize Dorset pitched five innings, striking out four batters. Bryce Benda pitched one inning, striking out two.

The next game for the Chargers is tonight, Tuesday, June 30 in the form of a doubleheader at Van Meter (17-11). Van Meter won both games against ACGC last season, 12-2 and 13-1.
