Panorama senior forward Tyme Boettcher has had an excellent season on her way to making school history. In the game against West Central Valley on Feb. 13, Boettcher hit the 1,000-point milestone with a scoring outburst of 31 points.
Boettcher has been firing on all cylinders this season. Heading into the state tournament, she is averaging 19.9 points per game, which ranks her eighth among all players in 2A. Her total points on the season of 478 ranks her third in 2A.
Depending on the length of the Panthers’ state tournament run, Boettcher can continue to rise up the list of the all-time leading scorers in girls 5-5 basketball at Panorama. After the game against Denver, Boettcher’s point total sits at 1,050, placing her sixth in scoring on the school’s career list.
