The ACGC boys track and field team glided to a first placed finish at the ACGC Charger invitational on Thursday, April 11 with 150.5 points. Earlham was the next closest with 146.

Plenty of ACGC athletes found themselves on the podium that day. The relay teams all performed well with gold in the 4×200, 4×800 and 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle relay, silver in the 4×100 and bronze in the 4×400. Andrew Mahaffey earned bronze in the 800-meter run and gold in the 1600- and 3200- meter runs. Gavin Sloss joined Mahaffey on the podium in the 1600 with a silver-medal performance. Payton Jacobe tossed his way to a gold medal in the shot put. Mason Wahl took home gold and Mike Fuller bronze in discus.
