The ACGC boys track and field team scored 112 points at the Panorama Coed Invite on Thursday, May 8. Earlham won the meet with 132 points. The Chargers left the meet with wins in six events: Joe Crawford in the 100-meter dash, Brexton Schneider in the 110-meter hurdles, Preston Kent in the 3200-meter run, the 4×100-meter relay team of Crawford, Schneider, Thomas Skram and Talon Noland, the 4×200-meter relay team of Ryan Martens, Skram, Kaden Sorensen and Noland and the 4×400-meter relay team of Skram, Noland, Johnny Kading and Sorensen.
Silver medals went to Ryan Martens in the 200-meter dash and the 4×800-meter relay team of Lane Stringer, Cole Van Meter, Johnny Kading and Kent. The lone bronze medal was earned by Jack Sheeder in discus.
The next meet for the boys is the Merritt-Charger Invitational on Monday, May 11. ACGC will host Audubon, CAM, Earlham, Madrid, Ogden, Panorama, Treynor, Underwood, Van Meter and West Central Valley.
