The ACGC girls track and field team qualified for two events at the IGHSAU state track and field meet at Drake Stadium in Des Moines from Thursday, May 21 to Saturday, May 23. The girls 4×200-meter relay team of Meranda Gruber, Savannah Akers, Cadence Petersen and Nora Langgaard qualified for state while setting the school record in the event at 1:50.34. Petersen qualified for the 400-meter hurdles. The relay team ran at 11 a.m. this morning, and Petersen will be competing in the hurdles at noon.
