The ACGC girls cross country team competed at the Gilbert Cross Country Meet at Iowa State University on Thursday, Sept. 10. The highest placement from an ACGC runner was by Vivian Crawford, who placed 32nd in 21:00. Elsie Brenneman of Pella won the meet in 17:48, and Pella won the meet overall with 26 points.
The next meet for the girls is at Panorama on Thursday, Sept. 17. The girls run against Atlantic, Boyer Valley, Carroll, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Exira-EHK, Greene County, Nodaway Valley, Ogden, Panorama, PCM, Perry, Roland-Story, Southeast Valley, Treynor, West Central Valley and Woodbine.
