The ACGC softball team (2-8) lost at Woodward-Granger (6-5) on Monday, June 8. W-G scored eight runs in the first and five in the second to take the lead. The Chargers lone run came in the third inning, scored by Megan Underwood from a Caydence Boals single. Jerzee Huss went 2/2 with two doubles. Karlie Kautzky contributed with a single. Huss and Underwood split time on the mound, with Underwood striking out one batter.
The Chargers face Madrid (8-2) at home tonight, Tuesday, June 9. These teams split the season series the last three seasons. Last year, ACGC won once, 11-2, and lost the second, 8-2.
