ACGC girls basketball (2-0) defeated West Central Valley (1-2) away from home on Tuesday, Dec. 3 in a low-scoring affair. ACGC’s staunch defense no doubt played a part, getting 27 steals and limiting West Central Valley to a four-point first quarter, and a two-point fourth quarter. Shay Lemke led ACGC in scoring with an efficient 19-point performance, shooting 7/15 from the field and 4/10 from three. Lemke also had eight assists and five steals. Two other Chargers joined Lemke in double-digit point performances. Stella Largent had 11 points, eight rebounds and four steals. Camdyn Richter added 10 points and five steals. ACGC will host Woodward-Granger (2-1) tonight, Dec. 6.
