The ACGC boys track and field team is competing at the IHSAA girls and boys state track and field championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines. The Chargers experienced success on day one, Thursday, May 22. Eli Madsen placed sixth in the 400-meter run in 50.80; Mike Fuller placed fifth in the shot put, throwing 50-09.50; and the shuttle hurdle relay team of Morgun Nolte, Tate Fever, Tommy Skram and Brexton Schneider ran the fastest qualifying time in 1A, breaking a school record in 1:00.37.
