The No. 14 ACGC girls basketball team (8-2) lost its away game to No. 8 Exira-EHK (9-1) on Saturday, Jan. 10. This was a close game throughout the contest. Exira-EHK pulled away in the second quarter, heading into halftime with a 37-28 lead. ACGC would score 22 in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough to complete the comeback.
The girls travel to Woodward-Granger (7-3) tonight, Jan. 13. ACGC has not lost to the WCAC foe since 2020 and won three games against the Hawks last season: 56-28, 52-35 and 62-48.
