The No. 14 ACGC girls basketball team (7-1) lost its first game of the season at No. 2 Des Moines Christian (9-2) on Tuesday, Jan. 6. The gap in scoring was largely created in the second quarter when Des Moines Christian outscored the Chargers 18-2.
The girls next game is tonight, Friday, Jan. 9, at Madrid (7-4). ACGC has not lost to Madrid since 2018 and defeated them twice last season, 57-5 and 51-17.
