No. 5 ACGC boys basketball (12-1) defeated Panorama away from home on Friday, Jan. 24. The Chargers had a 23-point lead by halftime and only increased it as the game went on. While the Chargers struggled from beyond the arc, 5/23, they were efficient from the rest of the court, shooting 50.9% from the field. Payton Policky added another double-double to his growing account with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Joe Crawford scored 17 points. Jathan South was on triple-double watch by the end of the game. He had 16 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.

ACGC followed that win by defeating Clarinda (10-6), 59-51, away from home last night, Monday, Jan. 27. It’s a busy week for ACGC. They will play Ogden (6-8) tonight, Jan. 28, which was postponed due to weather on Dec. 20. Then, on Thursday, Jan. 30, the Chargers will host Interstate 35 (8-6). That will be three games in five days for ACGC.
