The Panorama boys and girls cross country teams competed at the West Central Activities Conference meet Oct. 16 in Guthrie Center. The girls squad, ranked No. 16 in Class 1A, finished fifth with 141 points behind Des Moines Christian (34), Van Meter (77), Madrid (84) and Earlham (101). Kylie Rochholz finished 16th (21:26.4), and Laicey Lutz finished 20th (22:23.79), followed by Olivia Beaudet (22:47.36); Mary Fett (24:08.45); Corrie Knapp (25:21.00); Nella Rivas (25:25.70); Alyssa Stanley (28:58.24); and Rhaica Spencer (29:10.34).

The boys finished eighth in the field of 11 teams with 218 points. Top five finishers were Des Moines Christian (26), Earlham (47), Van Meter (84) and Ogden (107). Bladyn Wearmouth led the Panthers in 40th place with a time of 20:03.48. Zach Hayden crossed the finish line in 20:30.88, followed by Adrian Leone (21:31.54), Bennett Allen (21:32.62); Cruz Stanley (22:09.50); Graysen Shaffer (22:53.54); and Braden Bahrenfuss (24:33.51).
