The Panorama softball team (9-21) lost its second round regional playoff game at East Marshall (25-9) on Wednesday, July 9. Panorama’s lone run came in the sixth inning. Head coach Ismael Galvan had kind words to share about his team’s performance during the game and throughout the season.

“Our girls came ready to go and accepted the challenge ahead of them. My girls played tough and made some plays to keep it close game through the first four innings. East Marshall’s pitcher did a good job of keeping us off balance through the night, but we had great approaches at the plate,” Galvan said. “It’s sad to see the season end, but I am so proud of the girls for keeping the energy and focus up throughout the season. It’s tough for my seniors in (Arilyan) Steenblock and (Bridgette) Ewing for their high school careers to come to a close, but I know they will do great things in their next chapter in life. They are two great kids who gave a lot to the program over the last five years, and I wish them nothing but the best. We are a young team overall, and this Panther team will get back to work this off season and look forward to next season with what Panorama has coming back.”
