The Panorama girls and boys cross country teams competed at the 1A state-qualifying meet at South Hamilton on Thursday, Oct. 23. In the girls race, Madrid and Alta-Aurelia placed first and second, qualifying them for the state meet. The Panthers placed fourth with 101 points. The best Panorama race was run by Olivia Beaudet, who narrowly missed out on qualifying as an individual, placing 13th in 22:11.5.
In the boys race, Ankeny Christian Academy and North Butler Greene qualified for state. Panorama placed 10th with 228 points. The best race for the boys was run by Bladyn Wearmouth, who placed 37th in 19:27.2.
