The Panorama softball team (0-2) lost its first two games of the season to No. 15 Pleasantville (2-1) on Thursday, May 29. Panorama led the first game by the end of the fourth inning, 2-1. A strong four-run fifth inning by Pleasantville gave them back the lead, 5-2. Panorama came close in its comeback attempt, scoring two runs in the bottom of the fifth, but ultimately falling short, 5-4. Game two was more of the same. Panorama led 7-5 by the end of the third inning but fell to a Pleasantville comeback. Loses always sting, but holding two leads over a ranked opponent is a good sign for Panorama softball going forward. Panorama attempts to get its first win of the season at Manson-NW Webster (0-2) today, Friday, May 30. Panorama won last seasons matchup, 12-11.
