Panorama girls basketball (6-2) battled with No. 15 ACGC (6-0) away from home on Friday, Dec. 20. The Panthers’ slow start to the game cost them in this one. Panorama trailed ACGC 19-4 after the first quarter. However, Panorama showed its ability to hang with one of the toughest teams in 1A for the rest of the game. Panorama won the second quarter, 12-11, lost the third, 14-12 and lost the fourth, 17-12. The early deficit was just too much for the Panthers to overcome. Panorama’s leading scorer, Morgan Crees, had another solid performance, scoring 26 points and collecting eight rebounds. The Panthers go on break and will not be back in action until Friday, Jan. 3 when they host Pleasantville (5-2).
