The Panorama softball team (1-4) fell to IKM-Manning (5-4) at home on Wednesday, June 3. An eight-run outburst by IKM-Manning was enough to secure the win for the Wolves.

“One inning was the difference in this one tonight. IKM hit the ball well and found the holes. Not much you can do about that but try and find a way. We had seven of our girls get a hit tonight, so happy to see that and proud of the fight they showed even though things were not going our way,” Head Coach Ismael Galvan said.

Those seven with hits were Lexi Galvan, Emma Walker, Andrea Knode, Bridgete White, Elah Molloy, Hannah Dishman and Ines Gimeno-Perez. Dishman and Galvan had extra base hits in the form of doubles. Walker, Molloy and Dishman had one RBI each. Galvan and Knode split time on the mound, with Galvan striking out two and Knode punching out one.

The next set of games for the girls is a double header tonight at Earlham (2-5) tonight, Friday, June 5. Panorama’s last win against Earlham came in 2016. The two squads faced off three times last season, with Earlham winning all three, 10-2, 6-5 and 5-0.
