The Panorama volleyball team (11-11) remained at .500 after the Pleasantville triangular on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Panorama lost to Pleasantville (19-15), 3-0, but secured a win against Madrid (6-15), 3-1. The win over Madrid officially takes them past their win total of 10 from last season.

Nerea Gimeno-Perez led the Panthers with eight assists against the Trojans. Kills were spread throughout the team with Ashley Crees leading with five. Ruth Fett and Danica Isom had three each, and Gimeno-Perez, Leah Carstens, Gracie Recker and Jessica Randol all had two. Lexi Galvan added one kill. Digs were also a team effort, with Galvan, Gimeno-Perez and Bella Kelly all having six each. Carstens and Randol had five each as well. Crees had the lone block for Panorama. Andrea Knode led in aces with three.

The Panthers quickly bounced back with the four-set win over Madrid. Gimeno-Perez once again led in assists, this time with 21. Hailey Hellman joined her in double digits with 13. Randol led in kills with nine. Crees had eight and Isom had seven. Galvan was all over the floor with a team-high 25 digs. Knode joined her in double digits with 10. Crees led in aces with five.

The next game for the girls is on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at Earlham (14-11). Panorama lost all three games to Earlham in 2025, 2-0, 2-0 and 3-0.
