FIRST BABY. Collin Lee Smith is the First Baby born at the Guthrie County Hospital in 1995. He is pictured with parents Lynn and Deb Smith of rural Bayard. Collin was born Monday at noon, weighing in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces. He has a brother, Matthew, 9.

NEW AGE. It used to be five kids could get on a sled and go somewhere, but not anymore. A plastic sled just won’t budge with all that weight. These young eskimos who sledded away their snow vacation Tuesday are from top to bottom, Bridget, Billy and Jill Flanery, and Cheri and Shelene Springer.
