Panorama boys compete today in Ram Early Bird

By Cyote Williams | Times Vedette

The Panorama boys track and field team is traveling to Jefferson today, April 5, to compete in the Ram Early Bird against 10 other schools. Head Coach Bruce Dahlhauser hopes the team can carry the positive momentum from their performance in Ogden last week into today.

“We had a great opener to our outdoor season last Thursday in Ogden,” Dahlhauser said. “As a whole, our team competed extremely well all night. We saw a bunch of season and personal bests throughout the night and were able to quadruple our point total from the same meet a year ago. We showed great balance and were able to score points in the distance races, sprints, throws, relays, and hurdles.”

Dahlhauser commented on what he plans to see today.

“We get some guys back from vacation and lose a few others to soccer, so our lineup will look different than it did a week ago, but our versatility will show as we are still able to fill each race and look to be just as competitive. Getting kids exposure in different events will only benefit us as the season goes on.”
