Race on down to 407 S. Third St. in Guthrie Center for a racers meet and greet on Saturday, Aug. 31 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Meet your area drivers, see race cars up close, take pictures, and get autographs.

On Aug. 7, a total of 13 players participated. Dan Webb got a 16, Sandy Rumelhart got a 16 and a 17, Rhonda Titus and Jim Carico each got a 16, and Dennis Betts came through with a 20.
The Guthrie Center cribbage players generally meet at Guthrie Center Library on Mondays at 8 a.m., at the New Homestead independent living rec room at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays, and at the Guthrie Center Activity Center at 1 p.m. on Fridays. Organizers say there is always room for more, and they will be glad to teach you how to play. They play for quarters on Wednesday and Friday.

The New Homestead is hosting the following educational offerings that are open to the public. Both will be held in the activity room and will last approximately 30 minutes with an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
Cribbage is also played every Wednesday at the Independent Living Campus 8-11 a.m.
