Panthers placed fourth at Des Moines Christian Invite

The Panorama boys golf team placed fourth, shooting a 332 at the Des Moines Christian Boys Golf Invite on Thursday, April 17. PCM won the meet, shooting a 319. Individual round scores for the Panther golfers were not available as of press time. Panorama heads back to the links today, Friday, April 18 for the Hal Rossow Invite at Lake Panorama National Golf Course. ACGC, Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Interstate 35, Webster City, West Central Valley and Woodward-Granger are the other teams that will be in attendance.

Panorama boys and girls vs. AHSTW postponed to May 8

The Panorama girls soccer teams (3-2) next game will be against Logan-Magnolia (2-2-2) on Tuesday, April 22. The boys (2-3) next game will be against Van Meter (4-1-1) on Thursday, April 24.

Panthers place 4th at Charger Relays; Rochholz and Recker win events

Panorama scored 58 points at the Charger Relays on Thursday, April 17. Martensdale-St Marys won the competition with 71 points. Two Panorama athletes took home gold medals: Gracie Recker in the shot put and Kylie Rochholz in the 3000-meter run. Maddy Lutz in the 400-meter dash and the sprint medley team earned silver. The distance medley squad earned bronze. The girls next meet is the Bill Miller Relays in Van Meter on Monday, April 21. The girls will compete against 12 other teams.

Low numbers hinder Panther girls at Earlham Invite

The Panorama girls track and field team only brought eight girls the Earlham Invitational on Tuesday, April 15. Head Coach Bruce Dahlhauser sighted a senior trip, FFA, illness and injury prevented several athletes from competing. Despite the low numbers, Panorama still scored 36 points. Van Meter won the meet with 140. Three athletes earned silver medals: Gracie Recker in shot put, Emma Walker in discus and Kylie Rochholz in the 3000-meter run.

Panorama finishes 6th at Charger Relays

The Panorama boys track and field team scored 21 points at the Charger Relays on Thursday, April 17. Earlham won the meet with 102. Panorama earned a silver medal in the distance medley, and Cristian Monrroy-Nunez nearly earned a bronze in the shot put, placing fourth. The Panthers next meet is in Van Meter on Monday, April 21 at the Bill Miller Relays. Panorama will compete against 12 other schools.
