Panther boys host Hal Rossow Invite today

The Panorama boys and girls golf teams welcome plenty of teams to Lake Panorama National for the Hal Rossow Invite today, Friday, April 17. The boys golf against ACGC, Audubon, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Knoxville, Martensdale-St. Marys, Webster City, West Central Valley and Woodward-Granger.

Panorama girls soccer travels to No. 7 Kuemper Catholic today

The Panorama girls soccer team (2-0) faces No. 7 Kuemper Catholic (2-1-1) today, Friday, April 17, away from home. The Panthers are off to a hot start this season despite several games being cancelled or postponed. Panorama has won its first two games by 10-0 scorelines. Panorama and K-C games have been historically close. Panorama leads the series 3-1, with a 1-0 loss last season due to a post-game forfeit for fielding an ineligible player. Panorama had originally won the game 4-1.

Panorama boys earn 5th place at ACGC Relays

The Panorama boys track and field team placed fifth with 56 points at the ACGC Relays on Thursday, April 16. Earlham won the meet with 124.5 points.

The Panthers earned several top-three placements at this meet but were unable to secure a gold medal. Silver medals went to Corbin Deardorff in the 400-meter dash, Reed Draper in the long jump and Syler Shaffer in the 400-meter hurdles. Bronze-medal finishes were earned by the 4×100-meter relay team and Cristian Monrroy-Nunez in the shot put. Panorama came close to earning another bronze in the distance medley relay, placing fourth.

Panorama’s next meet is the Wildcat Invitational on Thursday, April 23 hosted by West Cenrtal Valley. Panorama competes against ACGC, ADM, Ankeny Christian, CAM, Glidden-Ralston, St. Albert, Van Meter, WCV and Woodward-Granger.

Panorama boys place 5th at Earlham Coed Meet

The Panorama boys track and field team scored 60 points at the Earlham Coed Meet on Tuesday, April 14. Clarinda won the meet with 128 points.

Panorama walked away from the meet with two gold medals. The first-place finishes were earned by Syler Shaffer in the 400-meter hurdles and Reed Draper in the long jump. Panorama earned two bronze medals by way of Corbin Deardorff in the 400-meter dash and Shaffer in the 110-meter hurdles. The team also had three fifth-place finishes in the 4×100-meter relay, and Cristian Monrroy-Nunez in the shot put and discus. Full results can be found HERE.

Panther girls place 6th at ACGC Relays

The Panorama girls track and field team scored 63 points at the ACGC Relays on Thursday, April 16. Earlham won the meet with 112 points.

Kylie Rochholz earned the team’s only gold medal of the event in the 1500-meter run. The team earned two silvers, Rochholz in the 3,000-meter run and by the 4×800-meter relay team. Laicey Lutz took home bronze in the 3,000-meter run. Panorama came close to adding several bronze medals. The team had fourth place finishes by the distance medley relay team, Olivia Beaudet in the 400-meter dash and 400-meter hurdles, and Emma Walker in discus. The full results can be seen HERE.

The girls next meet is the Wildcat Invitational, hosted by West Central Valley on Thursday, April 23. The Panthers will compete against ACGC, Ankeny Christian, CAM, Glidden-Ralston, Van Meter, WCV and Woodward-Granger.
