Panther girls place 11th at Earlham Coed Meet

The Panorama girls track and field team scored 21 points at the Earlham Coed Meet on Tuesday, April 14. Clarinda won the meet with 133 points.

Panorama was shorthanded during this meet but still managed to earn one silver through Kylie Rochholz In the 1,500-meter run. The 4×800-meter team of Mary Fett, Corrie Knapp, Olivia Beaudet and Rochholz were the next closest to earn a medal, placing fourth. Fett in the 800-meter run was the next closest, placing fifth. ACGC boys golf places 5th at IKM-Manning Invitational

The ACGC boys golf team shot a combined 227 at the Boys Golf Invitational hosted by IKM-Manning on Thursday, April 16. Underwood won the meet, shooting 168.

The next meet for the boys in on Tuesday, April 23 for a Conference Quad hosted by Woodward-Granger. ACGC will golf against Interstate 35, W-G and Panorama.

ACGC girls golf places 6th at Clarinda Golf Tournament

The ACGC girls golf team placed sixth at the Clarinda Girls Golf Tournament on Tuesday, April 14. The girls shot a combined 450 at the meet. Host Clarinda won the meet, shooting 377.

The girls return to the golf course on Tuesday, April 23 for a Conference Quad hosted by Woodward-Granger. ACGC will golf against Interstate 35, W-G, and Panorama.

Chargers place 5th at ACGC relays

The ACGC girls track and field team placed fifth, scoring 69 points at the ACGC relays on Tuesday, April 16. Earlham won the meet with 112 points.

The Chargers won two gold medals at their home meet: The 4×200-meter relay team and Cadence Petersen in the 400-meter hurdles. The distance medley relay team and Meranda Gruber in the 100-meter hurdles earned bronze medals. ACGC came close to two more bronze medals with the 4×100-meter and 4×400-meter relay teams placing fourth. Nora Langgaard was the next closest to a medal, placing fifth in the 100-meter dash. The girls next meet is the Ram Relays in Greene County on Monday, April 20. ACGC will compete against Carroll, Boone, Greene County, Webster City, Woodward-Granger and East Sac County.

The ACGC girls track and field team hit the blocks in Earlham on Tuesday, April 14. The team scored 27 points to place 10th. Clarinda won the meet with 133.

The Chargers did not earn any top-three finishes but did come close in several events. The sprint medley relay team, Nora Langgaard in the 200-meter dash and Brooklyn Schaffer in the 800-meter run all placed fourth. The team also placed fifth in the 4×400-meter relay.
