Despite being tied at halftime, the Chargers (4-0) pulled out the win to keep their undefeated season alive against South Central Calhoun (2-2) on Friday, Sept. 20. After being tied, 14-14, the Chargers scored in the third and fourth quarters to secure the victory. Jathan South completed one pass for 52 yards to Joe Crawford. As per usual, the Chargers did their damage on the ground. Mike Fuller led the way with 18 carries and 157 yards and one score. South had 15 carries for 111 yards and hit paydirt three times. Joe Crawford rounded out the attack with 11 carries for 56 yards. The Charger defense did a great job of getting into the backfield, totaling six tackles for losses. Xander Harwood led in total tackles with five. Jack Sheeder had 1.5 sacks. Brexton Schneider recovered a fumble, and South had an interception. ACGC will have one of its toughest challenges to date this Friday, Sept. 27, when they travel to face Riverside (3-1).
