Panthers lose close contest with I-35, 52-51

By Cyote Williams | Times Vedette

The Panorama boys basketball team (0-6) came close to ending its early-season slide at home against Interstate 35 (4-3) on Tuesday, Dec. 16. Panorama held the lead late in this game but ultimately could not hold off the I-35 comeback. Cruz Crandall with 18 and Latyn Ashworth with 13 led the team in scoring. Reed Draper was one point shy of a double-double with nine points and 10 rebounds. Brayden Galvan continued to lead the team in assists, adding a game-high five.

Another close loss surely stings for the Panthers, who now have three single-digit losses to their name, but the team is performing better than its record. Panorama will have the chance to get a mark in the win column against an equally struggling ACGC (1-4) tonight. ACGC won both games between the two last season, 82-40 and 71-31.
