Panorama girls season starts tonight against Woodward-Granger

The Panorama girls basketball team graces the court for the first time this season against fellow West Central Activities Conference foe Woodward-Granger (1-0) at home on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The Hawks have already secured a victory this season in the form of a 63-21 blowout of Greene County. Panorama had a lengthy winning streak against W-G up until last season, when the Panthers lost their first game in the series since 2015.

Panorama boys team hosts Woodward-Granger tonight to start season

The Panorama boys basketball team will get its first taste of regular season again on Tuesday, Dec. 2 against Woodward-Granger. On Nov. 21, the Panthers won a scrimmage against Greene County, 79-46. Panorama hosts another scrimmage tonight, Nov. 28, against Audubon. Against W-G, Panorama leads the series since 2009, 20-12, and split last season’s series, winning the first game, 47-38, and dropping the second, 77-35.

Panorama girls compete at Manson Girls Invite, Recker wins championship

The Panorama girls wrestling team competed at the 2025 Manson Girls Invitational on Monday, Dec. 1. Gracie Recker (155) won her weight class at the event. The girls next meet is the Woodward-Granger Invitational on Friday, Dec. 5.

Charger wrestling season begins at East Union on Thursday

The ACGC boys wrestling team will have its first competition of the season this Thursday, Dec. 4 at East Union for a quadrangular meet. The Chargers will face off against East Union, West Central Valley and Nodaway Valley.

No. 8 ACGC girls basketball faces West Central Valley tonight

The No. 8 ACGC girls basketball (1-0) team hosts West Central Valley (0-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 2. ACGC is already off to a hot start with a victory over IKM-Manning, while West Central Valley fell to Creston by one point. ACGC has dominated this competition in recent history, winning the last six games in a row. This includes both games last season, when the Chargers won 48-27 and 48-30.
