Panorama girls season starts Tuesday against Woodward-Granger

The Panorama girls basketball team graces the court for the first time this season against fellow West Central Activities Conference foe Woodward-Granger (1-0) at home on Tuesday, Dec. 2. The Hawks have already secured a victory this season in the form of a 63-21 blowout of Greene County. Panorama had a lengthy winning streak against W-G up until last season, when the Panthers lost their first game in the series since 2015.

ACGC boys basketball tips season off against West Central Valley on Tuesday

The ACGC boys basketball team hits the hardwood for the first time this season at home against West Central Valley on Tuesday, Dec. 2. ACGC has had the upper hand on the Wildcats for some time. The Chargers have not lost a game to WCV since 2018, winning the last 16 in a row. This includes last season’s blowout wins of 82-57 and 79-39.

No. 8 ACGC girls basketball face West Central Valley on Tuesday

The No. 8 ACGC girls basketball (1-0) team hosts West Central Valley (0-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 2. ACGC is already off to a hot start with a victory over IKM-Manning, while West Central Valley fell to Creston by one point. ACGC has dominated this competition in recent history, winning the last six games in a row. This includes both games last season, where the Chargers won 48-27 and 48-30. 

Panther girls wrestling competes at Central Iowa Kickoff

The Panorama girls wrestling team hit the mat on Saturday, Nov. 22 at Nevada High School for the 2025 Central Iowa Kickoff Tournament. The girls were competing against 32 other schools at the event.

In the varsity bracket, the Panthers hit the podium twice. Gracie Recker (155) earned fourth place. She won two bouts until losing in the semi-finals. Emma Walker (190) earned eighth place and lost in the quarterfinals. Ella Carico (125) picked up a win in the consolation bracket but did not place.

The Panthers next competition is on Monday, Dec. 1 for a tournament at Manson-NW Webster. Panorama will be facing off against Eagle Grove, East Sac County, Emmetsburg, GTRA, Manson-NW Webster, Ogden, Pocahontas Area, Sioux Central, South Central Calhoun, West Bend-Mallard and West Central Valley.

No. 8 Chargers start season with win over IKM-Manning, 64-35

The No. 8 ACGC girls basketball team (1-0) tipped off its season with an away victory over IKM-Manning (0-1) on Monday, Nov. 24. The Chargers jumped out to a 24-9 lead by the end of the first quarter and never looked back. There were no individual stats as of press time.

ACGC’s next game is against West Central Valley (0-1). ACGC has won the last six games between the squads, including two last season that ACGC won, 48-27 and 48-30.
